Its time for a new Shitopedia feature. The first ever Shitopedia feature to be precise, after a raft of wholly unsatisfactory ‘news’ wends its way to us every day: on the television, in the newspapers and on the internet.

Each day, I hear at least one story where I think “Is that news? Is that the story? Have you just reported what some idiot said at the time without checking your facts?” There are a huge number of examples to corroborate this – and to launch our special regular feature, we’ll show you a few of them in:

So here it is, the Shitopedia – welcome one and all!

If you’ve come here looking for scatalogical pictures, videos, or anything else directly shit related, you’ll be sorely disappointed: there’s nothing like that here. We’re dealing with the other meaning of shit, i.e. not very good.

What is the Shitopedia? 

A sensible question, and one to which the answer can be found within the “about” page at the top. However, for the moment, it is enough to know that the Shitopedia is the place to vent all that pent up anger about the little – and big – things in life that piss us off. However, that sounds like a shit idea, so we’re setting a benchmark – all comment within this site must be, and will be, eloquently made. It will be humerous, and light-hearted, despite its weighty subject matter.

Any more explanation would make this introduction become undoubtedly shit, so we’ll leave it at that.
