One of the shittiest and annoying things one has to cope with in modern life is mobile phones that are also mp3 players. Now, I do agree that perhaps having a mobile phone that doubles as an mp3 player is a good idea, as it saves carrying both things around, but to listen to this music without the use of headphones should surely be made a criminal offence.
The most annoying place to experience this is while on a bus, as you are unable to escape until either you, or the offending person gets off. You are also, of course, unable to say anything, as the people who are guilty of this terribly anti-social act are almost always chavs, listening to their own brand of shitty ‘music’, and who will threaten to ‘stab you up’ or something equally violent and uncalled for if you have the nerve of politely asking them to turn it down (or preferably, off) before your brain melts.
So guess what chavs – no-one wants to hear your shitty music so turn it the hell off!

Almost worse is not quite hearing the awful music, when MP3s or ditto phone users have got earphones, but the level of sound is so high it must be frying their little brains, and all we hear is

i have a mobile phone that has a mp3 player, but i don’t listen to it on the bus or something. i think that’s annoying. i agree with you. you know, people who goes to my school play music with their mobiles, and it makes me angry, because the like horrile music( i don’t know if you’ve heard about it, but the music they leke is called cumbia villera). i know that they can listen to everything they want, but respect at least a little the others and cut it out!!!!
I agree – one incident on a train springs immediately to mind. Some little urchin was playing “choons” all the way up to Edinburgh. Unfortunately, this spotty youth also had the attention span of a goldfish – he played about 20 seconds of a song, then skipped it.
This meant I listened to the first half minute of every shit song of 2006 during my train journey.
What a prick.

Haha this is an epidemic in Yorkshire, where they dont listen to one song for more than 30 seconds. This means all that is audible is a string of jabbering djs stating their name and how they are “in the fucking mix mate.” The names are the worst, ones such as DJ Smiffy and MC Gazza being a good example of how unimaginitive a DJ alter ego can be. Wicked mate.
i H8 chavs. they piss me off. they listen to the crappiest music in the world. *no joke* when they start to play those firsy few seconds of that shiity music i want to forcably remove my eyeballs with a rusty spoon covered in HIV positive blood. (i think i may be slightly f*cked up)
alienated try a spork!
