We are Vidiots!

Why on earth watch TV that early in the morning? I don't know why, I do it too. Where I live we have ten local channels. Four have morning programmes. Nearby there is another city that has seven channels. Three have morning programmes. There is a third city nearby that has two channels, two have morning programmes.

Of those nine stations, there is nothing to watch; why do I and others mindlessly revolve through the channels? We are all VIDIOTS.

Glad I do not have cable TV where an additional 50 channels still have nothing to watch.

Off air, in Toronto, Ontario, we get: 3,5,9,19,25,41,47,52,57,69.
From Buffalo, NY, we get:
2,4,7,17,23,29,49,
From Hamilton, Ontario, we get:
11,36,
From Barrie, Ontario, we get:
3,
From Oshawa, Ontario, we get:
22,

Wait till the evening - still nothing.

Forgot to mention the bedbug tsar. Sorry, but this made me feel itchy and I refer you to your own polemic on Mosquitos, what good are they? Same same bedbugs..

Only reason for them is to say to little children,

Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite...

I rarely watch morning television, but this morning I managed to. BBC News as AngryOldWoman points out was pretty pointless, but there was an interesting 'expert' on talking about bedbugs. Turning over to ITV actually showed that it could be worse. The Weather girl was 'on location' in Glasgow looking at the QE2 sailing down the Clyde.

Huh? Since when were Weather presenters experts on shipping? Mind you, she didn't strike me as being an expert on meteorology either. Nice lines though (on the QE2)...
